phone_text_alignment=&#8221;default&#8221; column_border_width=&#8221;none&#8221; column_border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<h5>The Pulmonology Unit is concerned with:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Hospitalization of patients suffering from\u00a0pulmonological\u00a0diseases as well as monitoring hospitalized respiratory disease patients of other medical\u00a0specialties.<\/li>\n<li>The option of hospitalization in an Increased or Intensive Care Unit, if such needs should arise.<\/li>\n<li>Outpatient services for patients who suffer from respiratory diseases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>At the respiratory management laboratory the following tests are carried out:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre and post-bronchodilator spirometry<\/li>\n<li>Flow-volume curve<\/li>\n<li>Arterial blood gas analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Flexible video bronchoscopy<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Bronchial washing<\/li>\n<li>Transbronchial biopsy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sleep study (polysomnogram) tests using contemporary equipment in a comfortable environment, with the patient accommodated in one of the Mediterraneo Hospital suites and the whole procedure\u00a0being\u00a0monitored by our trained personnel.[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=&#8221;No Line&#8221;
